My mother's SON-IN-LAW

Chapter 15: BEAUTIFUL DATE

Chapter 15: BEAUTIFUL DATE

In the Adams residence

Jennifer had been fiddling with her hands for almost fifteen minutes after having her breakfast with Paul.

After a long time of silence Jennifer spoke loudly towards Paul and said, "WHAT IF WE MAKE A LITTLE VISIT TO MEET OUR SON-IN-LAW Paul?"

Paul looked at his wife with a worried expression and said, "Why do you want to harass my daughter Jenny? You know she is not interested in any man, not to mention the young gentleman made her very angry. I hadn\'t seen her like that for almost a year. Don\'t make us re-live that month of agony again please."

Jennifer ignored her husbands words as she started to walk towards the door slowly. She kept her gaze fixed on his intently, and before she could say anything else, Paul spoke softly and said, "Let me get the keys first Jenny."

with that he got out of his seat and walked towards the counter next where he had left his coat as he walked closer to his wife with a dejected expression.

In Cyrus\'s Cafe

"We might need to leave this place very soon Mr Walker." said Alicia with a small smile on her face.

Liam looked at her blankly, not able to follow what her words meant.

Almost like she knew what was on his mind, Alicia stood up slightly from her seat and said, "My parents are on their way to meet you Mr Walker. Would you like to meet them ALONE?"

Liam stood from his seat almost exactly after he heard Alicia\'s words and walked towards the front door and kept the door open for the woman to exit first.

Before Alicia could turn her gaze towards Cyrus\'s eyes, Liam held her by her shoulders and gave her a slight push towards the door.

Alicia looked at him shocked and walked out of the door silently.

Before she could step into the car again, something made her halt in her movement as she looked at the right side of her body. And with a singular smile she said, "They are here."
