Chapter 92 - Underground Chambers
Selena could only bite her lips as she felt her domain being infiltrated.
\'I should have wrung his balls dry when I had the chance!\' She thought as she clicked her tongue followed by pressing her lips into a white sash.
She had mistook Klautz\'s interest in Verona abilities as his lust for her.
After all, no matter how she judges the situation, Verona looks damn sensual at the moment. With her see through top and her large sized breast she packed quite a destructive force.
She looked at herself specifically at her breasts and wondered if she should soak herself in water too and try to seduce Klautz. But she realized that hers were smaller than Verona\'s.
\'Does he even love me?\' she thought as her head lowered showcasing her smooth nape. Her lips pursed as she felt insecure.
She wished she could scold Klautz for this. But when it comes to her, she doubts that Klautz holds any feelings for her. If she wasn\'t important to him, what was the point of intervening?
Klautz reached out his hands.
"Get up, we need to move," Klautz commanded. To which Verona could look up at him in a daze. She couldn\'t stop blinking. Everyone had abandoned her and no one had bothered to talk with her as if she was some cursed woman yet Klautz had no qualms against her.
There was a high chance that Verona would die at this stage. Klautz would never endanger his own life to save a random girl but if she sticks with them she would probably have better chances of survival. And last but not the least, she had something which Klautz wanted.
Verona took Klautz hands. She stumbled as soon as she got up, her legs were numb from all the running she had gone through but she was quick to get back her balance.
"Let\'s go"

*splash*
The sun had already disappeared. It was growing darker by the minute only the moon\'s light came to their rescue.
Klautz and the group finally found the ruins they were looking for or rather Klautz was looking for. The others were clueless.
It was a stone made ruin with boulders here and there and some pillars still standing. It had no roof to speak of exposing it to the open sky above and no walls to protect from the dangers in human form that lurk in those swampy lands.
"It should be somewhere here." Klautz scratched his cheek as he looked around left and right. The ruins were much more barren than he had ever imagined to the point that he felt that the information he had received might be wrong.
Klautz got outside of the swamp waters on the elevated lands where the ruin stood in shatters.
He looked around. Klautz was looking for some kind of hidden room but he only had a little bit of idea of where it might be.
As he was looking around in a hasty manner, he found a painting on a lone standing wall at the ruins. It had the picture of a red demon. It had long horns and a red tail.
Klautz smirked as he walked towards the only wall at the ruins. Extending his hand he took the painting off the wall.
*crack*
The ground cracked as the ruins shook. Debris and dust falling from the pillars.
*crash*
The painting in Klautz hand fell as he tried his best to regain his balance. That was the intensity of the earthquake he was facing.
But what followed next made him raise his brows to the point that his forehead disappeared.
A new passageway opened up with stairs leading downstairs. It was dark and had a sense of mystery to it.
"Come on hurry up!" Klautz shouted. He was in a hurry for fear the staircase might close any moment now. Both of them hurried their steps as they ran after Klautz who was now walking down the stairs.
It was dark and ominous below. They had no idea if it was safe but they followed him anyway. They had to trust Klautz the most in this kind of situation cause they had nowhere else to go.
As they entered, as if by magic the hidden gate closed behind them. There was utter darkness. Even the ever present moonlight failed to seep through the roof but Klautz didn\'t stop walking down. There was not even a shred of fear in his heart of the darkness he was walking into.
Selena ran below and grasped Klautz\'s hand as her head turned left and right in fear. But, she could only rely on her sense of touch as she walked behind him.
"Klautz where are we going? It\'s so dark"
It was then…
The entire basement lit up as if illuminated by several torches but on closer inspection there were none. It was just balls of orange lights floating above at periodic distances. It lit up as if by magic.
*tap* *tap*
With a deathly silence everywhere even Klautz\'s light steps were audible.
Klautz walked inside. There was a huge library inside. Many books were kept in a queue in several wooden shelves spanning across the middle of the room.
"Wah…," Klautz yawned as he covered his mouth. This was one of the safest places in this bonus stage. Klautz couldn\'t help but feel relaxed. But, Klautz wasn\'t happy about this. All he felt was an impending sense of boredom.
This was a survival world. There is not much for entertainment… at least not in the bonus stage. When you don\'t have your phone or pc or anything to look at, time passes so slowly that it might make you insane.
That is why they had so many battle maniacs in hell. With no other source of entertainment, real life battles were the only thing that could make their blood boil, giving them \'high\' nothing else could give. So much so that they had become intoxicated with it.
But there was one more thing that Klautz could do to relieve his boredom…
