The Assassin's Enemy Lover

Chapter 609 - 609 "Baby, look at me,"

Zi Han nodded his head as he clenched his fists on his thigh. He seemed a little nervous though there was really no need for him to be. Lin Ruoxi fixed his veil while saying, “We are leaving. Auntie Yi will do the rest... okay?” with a bright smile.

Zi Han nodded his head again and Zi Xingxi couldn’t help but pat his head lightly while saying, “I am so proud of you sweetie.”

“If he ever bullies you don’t hesitate to tell me. I will sort him out for you,” said Lin Ruoxi seeming very reluctant to leave. In fact, both of them didn’t want to leave. They were looking over him like mama bears afraid that their cub will get bullied. They even forgot that Zi Han could take care of himself. In fact, it should be Yi Chen they should be worried about.

It took auntie Yi coming upstairs for them to leave. She placed a tray with some wine and two goblets on the table before saying, “I will come up with Yi Chen when he is here.”

Zi Han felt his heart beating fast when he heard this for some reason. It was like he was a blushing virgin bride though he wasn’t. The wait was so nerve-wracking that he found himself becoming very restless.

He started tugging at the quilt with his lips pouting playfully while fluttering his legs that weren’t touching the floor. As he exhaled deeply the door suddenly opened and auntie Yi walked in. Behind him was his man who seemed a little tipsy.

Yi Chen shook off auntie Yi’s hand and rushed over to Zi Han to embrace him. The two of them almost fell on the bed if Zi Han didn’t press his hand on the bed.

“You left me,” he said with his lips rubbing against Zi Han’s neck.

.....

“You knew where to find me so what’s the problem?” He asked but Yi Chen didn’t like that response. He tightened his embrace almost suffocating Zi Han while mumbling,

“You already forgot your promise to me.”

Zi Han, “...”

Auntie Yi who didn’t want to be a third wheel any longer than she should spoke up. “Come on Ah-Chen. You have to get this done so we can leave you and your husband alone,” she said while trying to peel him off Zi Han.

Hearing this Yi Chen was more than willing to send the elder away so he could be with his sweetheart and consume each other. He let go of Zi Han and pulled him up while asking, “What do we have to do?”

Auntie Yi lit the dragon and phoenix candle while saying, “You have to repeat the same thing as before and also make a hair knot. After that this aunt will leave you alone.”

Yi Chen couldn’t wait so he picked up both of the goblets but looked inside. They were empty.

“Uh... auntie are we drinking air?” asked Yi Chen his IQ quite concerning right now.

Zi Han pursed his lips into a thin line trying to suppress his laughter. Auntie Yi had the urge to flick his forehead and knock some sense in his head.

“Let me pour it out for you but you have to take his veil off first,” she said and Yi Chen’s eyes widened like a kid after being permitted to say a swear word.

“Can I? Really?” he asked and Zi Han couldn’t hold back anymore. He laughed out loud while saying,

“You really shouldn’t drink?”

Yi Chen placed both his hands on his shoulders and said, “Wife, I promise you I won’t drink ever again. This will be the last day I swear.”

Zi Han, “...”

Auntie Yi couldn’t bare the dog food anymore thus she said, “You don’t need me here so you two do your thing before you know... mess up the bed.”

After saying that she didn’t waste any time. She just poured out wine before leaving fast like she had oil underneath her feet.

Zi Han glanced at the closing door before his cheek was suddenly held and Yi Chen turned his face making him look at him.

“Baby, look at me,” he said in a very deep and charming voice. Zi Han’s suddenly felt a kaleidoscope of butterflies in his stomach as he stared into his man’s eyes.

In them he could see the flickering flame from the candle reflecting in his dilated pupils. Yi Chen took a step forward and asked, “Can I,” his voice seductive and alluring.

Zi Han licked his lower lip and gulped unconsciously as he nodded his head. Yi Chen pinched either corner of the veil and pulled it up slowly as though unwrapping a beautiful gift.

When their eyes met Yi Chen’s breathing stagnated the atmosphere suffocatingly sweet. Yi Chen’s heart was racing as he pressed his hand on the side of Zi Han’s cheek. He smiled his lips trembling before saying, “You look very handsome baby.”

Zi Han thought he wouldn’t blush this much after hearing him say something he always said to him before. This time something seemed different when he said it.

Zi Han bit his lips the sexual tension in the room suffocating. He subconsciously stood on his tippy toes leaning in closer for a kiss but before their lips touched loud fireworks exploded with the bright colours seeping into the room through the ceiling to floor windows.

The two of them glanced in that direction at the same time and saw fireworks with their characters exploding in the air congratulating them.

It wasn’t only in the skies of Capital star but all the other planets of the federation as well. Their skies were lit with congratulatory fireworks and hovering displays playing the highlights of their wedding.

If anyone didn’t know that this pair had tied the knot now they knew. It was all over the skies. Yi Chen held Zi Han’s hand and pulled him towards the ceiling to floor windows. When they looked down they saw their family next door waving at them while pointing at the skies. This had Yeoh Jun’s handwriting written all over it.

Yeoh Jun excitedly raised a handwritten banner saying ‘we are so proud of you’ inside a red heart.

Zi Han, “...”
